Munich. Part 1.

So a few friends and I went to Munich. Beers and bratwurst. Why not? We flew in early in the morning and decided make haste and check out the Kloster Andechs monestary. The monks in this baroque church have been brewing some of the best beer in the world for over 1000 years, or at least that's what all the tourist pamphlets tell you. We made our way, with about three words in German between the four of us, and found our way to Heiliger Berg, or Holy Mountain (I know, so metal). Just to the south is the beginnings of the Alps, which you can kinda see in the background of some of those photos.

Alright, on to the beer hall.

We made a new friend. A great dane named Camaro.

After sampling the hells, doppelbock, and pilsner, and also the different sausages, we all had a decent buzz and decided it was time to bail. We found a taxi driver to take us back to the train station. The driver was awesome. He thought we were morons. Obviously.

This insane German drunk literally heard us speaking in English and decided that he would be the new addition to our crew.
